Art Crush // Sophie Gamand

If you follow me on instagram, or have met me for even a couple minutes, you know I'm seriously obsessed with pups. Our little guy, Dizzy, was found in Upstate New York, and taken to foster care until we found him at three months old, and gave him his forever home. Since we don't know anything about his parents, we're not sure exactly his lineage. We're pretty sure he's a Flat Coated Retriever. He's amazing. While I could write all day about Dizzy, I recently found Sophie Gamand (thank you Bark Box!) and am so excited to share her work. Sophie is a French Photographer, living in NY and a majority of her work focuses on relationships with pets.In 2015, Sophie will have released a book featuring her collection "Wet Dog", but in the mean time, you can purchase these prints!Sophie's parallel of dogs to the human world is incredible, and so are these images! You bet next time Dizzy gets a bath, there will be documentation.
