June Printable & Inspiration
June is here!!! That means summer vacations, shorts, and peonies popping up from the ground, and all over your social media feeds. We planted our vegetable garden last weekend and we're SO excited about it! We planted less this year, giving each one more space to grow, and I can't wait to make salads full of vegetables from our garden. It also means food trucks, lake trips, and lots of art festivals! The handlettered inspiration comes from Kelsey from Pinegate Road, and it's a friendly reminder! Progress not perfection friends!! It's something I'm constantly working on, and man it feels good to let go a little! I have to check in and say "am I the only one that's going to notice this" or "does this really natter?" It's so easy to try and make it more (and more) perfect, but at some point, you have to move forward. By just challenging yourself to a time frame (like a 100 day project) you're able to commit to producing every day, and it helps you let go a bit. It's something I know I'll always be working on because I always want to improve, but striving for progress is quite different than striving for perfection. Think of progress as perspective, take a step back, and zoom out (literally). The fire in you that wants to keep growing, that's a REALLY GOOD THING. Cherish it, and keep challenging yourself! We're chugging away on the 2019 Planner updates, and I can't wait to share all the new artwork with you!
