Wed Wednesday: Engaged!

Last month I got engaged! It was definitely the best day ever! Lots of people have asked for the story - so here it is!Gregg and I met 7 and a half years ago, and have had so much fun together. After spending months trying to find the perfect moment, Gregg couldn't wait any longer.For those of you who don't know. I've had the pleasure of working with Tammy Swales, and totally have a crush on her talent. So when she asked me to model for a "top secret test shoot" I thought "hell yeah!". Little did I know...About 10 minutes into the shoot, Dizzy (our dog) and Gregg popped out dressed to the nines (Dizzy was wearing a bow tie!). My reaction? AW! We're doing a family photo shoot! My mom must have set this up (She's Tammy's biggest fan).After some "awe" and "ooh"'s, Gregg got on his knee. My thoughts at this point... what's he doing? Tying his shoe? He proceeded to tell me how much he loved me and how honored he would be to call me his wife. Of course, I said YES! It was amazing, and I was SO shocked. The best part is that we have it captured on camera! A moment I'll never forget that I can now share with everyone else!So I hearby declare Wednesdays "Wed Wednesday" on Sugar & Type, and also declare December 19, 2012 the BEST DAY EVER! I'm doing this series because I want to talk with other brides, and the roller coaster of emotions that comes with this crazy exciting transition!
