Wed Wednesday: Louise and Anthony
Ehrrmigawd...first off, I wanna share our love story http://laidoffmom.com/our-story/our-story-chapter-one/ It's 7 chapters, so feel free to skim =P We are middle school sweethearts...pretty rare I must say =) And I remember the exact day he proposed: Sunday, August 14, 2005. We had just ran our first 5K that day, and were pretty tired. On the way home, my hubbs decided he wanted to take a stroll through our old middle school. We hadn't been there in a long time, so I was extremely excited! We walked passed by my old locker where he used to slip me lil' love notes in 8th grade, and then went to the basketball courts. I was sitting on a lil' railing when out of nowhere he gets down on one knee....

What was the best part about planning a wedding?
I had a rather tough time planning my wedding...But even so, i wouldn't trade our situation for someone better =)
But one of my favorite parts about planning, was my dress! I was going to Fashion Design school at the time, so I had asked my patternmaking teacher to help me create my dress...it was the best experience ever!!
What was your favorite part of your wedding?
That moment when you're walking down the aisle, and you see him standing there looking at you & only you. You forget everything...all the heartache, the drama...it's just you and him. Everything else becomes a blur.
Advice for brides in the planning stages?
- Ask for help, don't think you can do everything...I'm a Leo, so naturally, I think I can do errthang...I'm usually wrong! =P
- Stay calm & collected - If something goes wrong, don't sweat it! There are solutions for everything! The most important thing is you and him. The wedding can go haywire...but if the 2 of u are still standing...together, that is the most important take away from any wedding. A wedding is just a party...a marriage is a lifetime. =)Be sure to follow along on facebook, and check out Louise and her amazing blog!
