Life // Key Lime Weekend

We recently celebrated my Dad's birthday, and I went Key Lime crazy. My family is really close, so we like to make birthday's really special. DSC_0033As I walked through Wegmans as quickly as possible (it's easy to stay there for longer than necessary) a little bag of "key limes" jumped out at me, and it was the ONLY one laying in a pile of regular limes, I was pretty excited to use them in our menu.DSC_0052I followed this Key Lime Cupcake Recipe, and it turned out great! I garnished them with a Key Lime Slice, and of course I used food coloring to really make these pop. DSC_0053DSC_0056We enjoyed my Dad's favorites, made him a beautiful dinner, and had Key Lime Gin and Tonics. I bought my Dad a subscription to Birchbox, he got his first box and loved it!
