Wed Wednesday // Buffalo Indie Weddings

Guys (or mostly girls), I'm so excited to announce that I'm a contributor to Buffalo Indie Weddings! And no, I didn't move to Buffalo (but it is around the corner!). The girls hosted a Rochester event, and a friend introduced me to the concept, and I just loved what these women are doing! Buffalo Indie WeddingsBuffalo Indie Weddings Buffalo Indie Weddings

Buffalo Indie Weddings (formerly The Boutique Bridal Party) was created in 2012 by Ali Eagen ofMade by Anatomy and Erica Eichelkraut Zilbauer of City Lights Studio. They were two strangers who connected after they realized they both run unique bridal businesses (and each have an undying love all of things Buffalo, all things wedding, and anything that is sparkly, fun or served in a martini glass!).

They were inspired to throw a small, boutique-like bridal show to suit the style and attitude of their similar clientele. The first event, held in February of 2013 was intimate but so exciting and full of live music, cocktails, prizes, shopping and more! It received rave reviews by the 30+ vendors and 400+ attendees and was featured on Buffalo.comBuffalo SpreeBuffalo Rising! The event was the first of its kind in Buffalo and a smash hit. In fact, 93% of the brides who attended said they loved the event & would recommend to a friend!Based on the roaring success of this event, it became more evident than ever that brides in Buffalo desperately want better wedding options, but don’t know where to find them. With two big annual bridal shows and other great events throughout the year such as The Signature Cocktail Soiree, Crafts & Cocktails DIY Party, vendor mixers, educational workshops and a new publication, With Love, Buffalo Indie Weddings has become Buffalo’s most specialized bridal organization connecting Buffalo’s indie brides to the top local wedding artisans.Be sure to check out their site, and see what they've got cooking! Be sure to submit if you're a local vendor! Keep an eye out for some posts from me on their blog!
